Love this site. want to pass on that I also losed a little nephew in 1996 with cancer & he was also 7 years old.

Caleb Andrew Sims was his name
Adam & Laurie Sims are his parents

My question I have for you is do you still have days where you miss your daughter & how do you handle it.

Adam & Laurie have their days & as a family member I don't know what I can do for them.

Caleb a boy that loved batman & Spiterman but we called him our fighter for he fought a long fight as you know cancer does this to a family.

Caleb & others are heros in my eyes for they face more things than we as adults will in our own lives.

Hope that you will email me for I would love to get the address to Adam & Laurie where you both can share together your stories.

Adam & Laurie like you saw many families in need of help during their own trials while facing their childrens cancer.

keep up the great job

Our beautiful little girl, Freya, aged 5, was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in the right-side of her face on 5 January, 2009.

Like Gaby, Freya is fighting this thing with all of her might. We are still just coming to terms with all of this but, as parents, find strength from your determination. Although Gaby lost her brave battle, she is now a precious angel, watching over other children, like Freya, as they battle on. Thank you for sharing your difficult and personal journey.

I am thinking of your family today, as I often do. I can not imagine the pain of loosing a child-it is just unimaginable. I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Gaby. She was such a beautiful girl-she touched the lives of all that knew her or just knew her story. I feel blessed to of known her story. it has made me a better person. Thank you for sharing your daughter and sister with us all.

To the family of Gaby,

What a story, it is with courage, hope, and God's will. I could not stop myself from crying but it was due to the determination that Gaby had. That is one amazing child.

God speed to your entire family.

With Love,
Jen

Dear Gaby,
I know that we have only met once at the Boston Pizza fundraiser but even through that little amount of time, I could tell you were strong. Even though you were diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer you always had a smile on your face, you seemed like you could turn any situation upside down. You are now in a better place and even though you are not with any of us anymore you are still in my heart.Although you have passed away and werent able to fight cancer you still tried your hardest an that as much as we can ask.

I met you Aunt Denise today at the walk to End Breast Cancer in BC. She told me your story and everything that happened to you. I want to tell you that I am sorry. I am sorry that you are not going to grow up. I am sorry that there was no one that could cure you. I am sorry for the pain you suffered. There is one thing your aunt did not tell. She forgot to tell how darn cute you are. Your parents are very very brave. I do not know how they have to courage to continue. So I am going to pray for them, and you young lady be an angel for them, hang around let them know that you are ok. Signing off...love from Suzanne

Hey Gaby and Gaby's parents and siblings. I know all of you must have gone through a lot due to losing such a wonderful girl. Just reading her story and seeing her smiling face makes me think that she made the most of her life through all of the challenges. She is an inspiration to us all. I know for a fact that Gaby is up watching down on us all. i think that all of you are extremly lucky to have had her in your life. I certainly wish i could've met her. It breaks my heart that a girl with that confidence and courage had to leave us to a better place. But like you said: God has a plan for us all. I think that he put Gaby in all of our lives for a reason. To show us an angel can really come down to earth.
Thank you and God bless.
Gabrielle Unser
