Build-A-Bear's
Friendship Forest for Gaby
The staff and patrons of Build-A-Bear Workshop
in Coquitlam Centre Mall are having trees planted throughout Canada
in memory of Gaby.
The event started with staff members at the store hoping to raise
enough money to buy a tree, through the National Arbor Day Foundation,
for every grade two student in Gaby's school.
Patron's of the store began to ask about the certificates decorationg
the walls of the store and upon hearing Gaby's story started donating
trees in her honour as well.
There have now been well over 100 trees donated in Gaby's memory
and Build-A-Bear is continuing its efforts until August.
Build-A-Bear was one of Gaby's favourite places to be and we are
very grateful to them for continuing to think of her. Gaby would
be thrilled. |
